Role of Mathematics in Other Spheres

Mathematics is applicable in many fields of Physical Science. For instance, in Physics and Engineering; in particular in Computer Engineering. It is hoped that in future mathematics will be applicable in various fields of Life and Medical Science too. Cybernetics, a newly born science, which is the relative study of control and communication in man and machines, furnishes reasons for this hope.

There is another newly born field of knowledge, known as Operations Research, which helps to find how to make the best use of the resources. A large body of mathematics is applicable in this field.

Besides, the mathematical logic can be used in the day to day life. And with a little scrutiny, it can help to understand certain metaphysical notions too.
